Frequently asked questions
Are your bags really handmade?
Yes. Every bag is entirely handcrafted by skilled Thai artisans using traditional weaving techniques passed down for generations. No two bags are ever identical.cEach piece carries the unique touch of the maker and the natural fibre used.
Are the natural variations considered defects?
No. Slight differences in colour, texture, and weave patterns are normal and part of the natural beauty of handcrafted products. These characteristics are not imperfections — they are what make each bag truly one of a kind.
What materials are your bags made from?
Our collections are crafted from natural, sustainably sourced fibres such as:
- Water hyacinth
- Lygodium (climbing fern)
- Sedge / Krajood grass
- Banana fibre
These plants grow abundantly in Thailand, and some are even invasive species—meaning your purchase helps support environmental balance.
How should I care for my bag?
Keep your bag dry and store it in its dust bag when not in use.
Avoid soaking, heavy rain, or long exposure to humidity.
Clean gently with a soft, dry cloth.
Avoid sharp objects that may catch on the weave.
Natural dyes may soften over time — this is part of the fibre’s natural aging process.
